General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Age, gender and duration of problem no mentioned.
I have gone through the problem described in your query.
In view of the loss of appetite and significant weight loss I am of the opinion that you must undergo endoscopic examination of stomach yo rule out gastric ulcer which can become a cancer.

Meanwhile continue to take the treatment as prescribed by your doc.
Give your feedback if convinced.
