What Causes Gas And Frequent Bowel Movement?

Hey! So idk if y all can help but whenever I take ADD (or ADHD idk the difference) I always have to empty my bowels not long after and occasionally throughout the day. My stool is typically gassy and a lot of the time floats or breaks up. Also sometimes I have increased gas. I take GasX sometimes to help but not sure if this is serious or not. Just looking to know if I should see a doctor or if it s a normal side effect thanks!

It's pretty common as a side effect even if it doesn't get that much of a mention in the listing of side effects. This is true of even mild stimulants like caffeine. THere isn't that much to be able to stop it. BUT, there are some features that imply some things that will at least change things:
If the stool is oily, floats, etc, this implies an increased amount of fat in it. THerefore a diet that is quite low in fat and high in fiber that binds fat will change the nature of the bowel movements.
