What Causes Gaining Weight After Having Mtp Kit?

sir my age is 33 years, ht. 5 feet 6 inches and weight about 69 kg and a hypothroidism patient because of unplanned pregnancy after two week i had taken that mtp kit given by my doctor everything was ok then after that i started gaining weight. i just want to know what is the reason for that sudden increase in my weight and what should i do.

MTP Kits contain both mifepristone and misoprostol that is used for the medical termination of intrauterine pregnancy of up to 9 weeks of gestation. The medication has some side effects. The medication may cause weight gain as a side effect, in some women along with its other side effects. If you notice any side effects like weight gain, then you should consult your doctor first for medical help. Regular balanced diet, daily exercising etc may help to control your body weight.
