What Causes Frequent Vomiting, Mild Fever And Stomach Pain?

my 9 year old daughter started throwing up today - she has vomited 3 times and has a fever, not high grade, but very warm. Her stomach hurts and she keeps having waves of nausea where she thinks she might vomit again. She keeps saying how hot she feels too. It sounds like a stomach flu but should I take her to the hospital to be safe?
