What Causes Frequent Urination?

i have a frequent urge to urinate must run to bathroom as it feels like i will explode either have very little urine or none at all and still feel extreme urge to urinate with nothing it is very intense urge to push to try to urinate to release the feeling of urgency

I being a surgeon, we encounter so many such cases..
I read your question completely and have understood it well enough..

To be frank I need few other details..
1. Your gender
2. Age.
3. Do you experience incontinence if you don't pass urine when in urgency??

This is because, I want to know whether it is stress urinary incontinence!
And definitely, the age and gender play a vital role in determining the causes and plan of treatment for your problem.

Anyway, I will give following possibilities and necessary actions to be taken.

1. Urinary tract infection, Uti will result in such symptoms. And it's the most common cause.
So, rule it out. Get these tests done.
A. Urine routine and microscopy
B. Urine culture.
If you get a proper treatment for Uti, your problem should subside. This is irrespective of any gender or age.

2. In males, prostate related problems cause such symptoms.
And most commonly seen in old people..

3. In old age women, there's meatal stenosis responsible for such symptoms.

So, just try to figure out where you fit in.
