Thanks for contacting HCM with your health concern
1. going by your history it seems to be a
Urinary tract infection [UTI] which is a common cause of
frequent urination which happens when the bacteria enters the bladder through the urethra.
2. It could be
urge incontinence or
overactive bladder thus see a
Urologist to find out the exact cause of the problem i.e. either due to bladder infection or prostate enlargement
3. Ask for urine examination, and if possible for a urine culture to decide the antibiotic and if the symptoms do not subside within 3-4 days, or recurs, then:
- ask for X-ray K.U.B and Ultrasonography, till then
4.
- limit food which irritate bladder like: avoid coffee, alcohol, spicy/acidic food and high carbohydrate diet and maintain ideal body weight
- kegel exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles
- take fiber rich diet to avoid constipation
- plenty of water and fluids
PS. check with causes of increased frequency and burning sensation of urine like diabetes, prostate enlargement [in old], and tuberculosis of bladder, or UTI [in young]
