What Causes Frequent Urination?

Mother 93 has urgent need to urinate for past several months. No pain like urinary track infection. Her friend said she had same issue that was related to her upper eye. She took drops from opthamologist and it cured frequent urination. Is this possible?

Hi,
The information regarding your mother's friend condition is missing. Despite that I can say that its highly unlikely that an ophthalmological drops could cure frequent urination. Clearly I have not come across such a cure in my practise or medical literature.
Urinary tract infection presents with frequent urination and need not accompany with pain. And there are other reasons for frequent urination like high blood sugar levels. Considering the age of your mother, i would ask you to visit a physician for complete evaluation of the symptoms.
I hope the above information clarifies your doubts. Thanks for writing into healthcaremagic. Have a wonderful day.
