Geriatrics Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Urinary tract infection is the commonest cause of frequent urination.
2. Get a urine examination done for evaluation of infection. Presence of increased pus cells or leukocyte esterase in urine indicates infection.
3. If infection is positive, need to start on nitrofurantoin. Repeat urine test after complete of treatment regimen is essential.
4. Also increase fluids intake along with blueberry and cranberry juice.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
