What Causes Frequent Urination While Having Lower Abdominal Pain?

i have frequent urination, the other night i had to suddenly go, and before i made it to the rest room i had extreme sharp pains in my lower abdomen/pelivic area. alot of pressure like i was in labor or something, after about 45 mins and it didnt relieve i went to the er. they did blood work and a ct scan and couldnt find anything, while i was there they gave me strong pain meds which helped and eventually sent me home telling me they didnt find anything, now i dont know what to think, the pain has eased but not gone completely

Hi,

I understand your concern.

Frequent urination including at night are due to possible urinary tract infection/stones.

Urine analysis is further recommended.
Avoid fluids in the afternoon. Avoid drinking coffee or other stimulants especially in the afternoon.

Hope this helps.
