What Causes Frequent Urination In A 3 Year Old?

Our three year old boy is urinating very frequently today. He is turning three years old on Saturday and has started successfully using the potty fairly recently. Today, he has had four times when he did not make it to the potty. This evening he is urinating in short intervals as short as 15 minutes apart. Do we need to call our pediatrician?

Thanks for your consultation at HCM!
After going through your history , if frequent urination is accompanied by burning sensation then most probably your child is suffering from Urinary tract infection....
It is better to get his Urinalysis done and consult paediatrician....so that proper antibiotic according to his body wt. Can be prescribed.....
Hope your your query is answered appropriately if you still have any feel free to ask..
Regards
