What Causes Frequent Urination And Lower Back Pain?

My name is Becky. For the past couple of days I ve had frequent urges to urinate, but I do drink lots of water. I wore poise type pads in the even I couldn t get to the bathroom in time and the pad did have some moisture which I know didn t help. Lately I ve had cramping when I urinate yesterday a trace of blood that went away. Urine is normal color or clear. THis afternoon I have a craping in my lower back my job I sit a lot and my exercise is walking the treadmill which I haven t done in 2 days. THe pain is more irritating than painful. I laid down with a heating pad and the pain is still there. I have had normal bowel movements, thinking it was gas and that area seems normal.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Urinary frequency, abdominal cramping/lower back pain and blood in urine suggest a UTI.I will suggest you see the Doctor for examination and a urinalysis. From the results of the test, drug may be prescribed based on the germs that will be found. In the meantime, if cramps get too intense, you take an anti-spasmodic pain drug like spasfon.
Hope this will help
Wish you good health
