What Causes Frequent Urination After Taking A Morning After Pill?

Hello! So Thursday April 20th I had sex but we didn t have a condom, so he penetrated me for a minute or two right when we were getting started but got nervous so he stopped. That night I took the morning after pill, I bled for a few days a week later, and no other side effects have been happening except frequent urination and bloating a bit. I m expecting to be getting my period next week, but I m incredibly nervous despite knowing that I m probably not pregnant. I was just wondering what are the chances that I am still pregnant despite taking the pill and no ejaculation inside?

Hello,

Following intake of morning after pill, you need to get breakthrough bleeding within 3 weeks. Since you have experienced bleeding by 1 week, it states that you are not pregnant. Increased frequency of urination could be happening to you as you are anxious of being pregnant or due to urethral mucosal irritation.

Kindly take syrup Citralka twice a day, which will help to keep your urine more alkaline and decrease mucosal irritation. Also drink more of water and citrus fruit juices. You should be able to overcome the symptoms by means of above measures.
