Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...
i have been suffering for the last 1-2 years. i get frequent stomach infections, frequency being every 3-4 months. i am a 45 year old menopausal women. everytime my doc puts me on antibiotics for a week or two. what could be the reason ? what should i do?
I really appreciate your concern, very inadequate history you have given here, what type of infection you are having since couple of years, what type of medicines you have taken or antibiotic you have taken and mainly what are the symptoms, if this is the infection. In case of infection, fatigue, fever, headache are the main symptoms but you have not discuss the symptoms. In my opinion, it may not be the infection but it seems to be IBS (irritable bowel syndrome ), it is a functional kind of disease and I would advise you to discuss about this.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
