What Causes Frequent Seizures?

frequent seizures do I have a drug interaction? age 68....weight 140lbs....female....have had a mild heart attack...kidney failure 2 years ago....not on dialysis lorazepam .5, metoprolol 25 mg, levothyroxine sodium 125mg, forosenude 40mg, rocaltrol .25, niacin 100mg,prevastatin 40mg, keppra 250mg x3 per day, iron, Tylenol 500mg

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that Keppra does not interact with your current therapy.

But, to my opinion the dose of Keppra that you are taking is low.

What are your current renal function tests? What is your actual cretinine clearance leves?

If creatinine clearance is above 30 mL/min/1.73m, I would recommend increasing the dose of Keppra at 1000mg daily.
