What Causes Frequent Menstruation With Bruises On Legs?

I ve been having very frequent periods. I ll start with some brownish blood and then it becomes regular red after the first day, then it goes on for about a week and I ll end with brown blood, and now lately I ve found a lot of random bruises on my legs. Could they be linked?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the history of metromenorrhagia with symptoms of forming of bruises then it needs to be ruled out for ITP (Thrombocytopenic purpura ) and better to get done the platelet count hope this information concern.
