What Causes Frequent Dizziness?
Hi, I have been having dizzy spells for the past month. It comes and goes. One minute I am fine the next minute the world is spinning to fast and I have to hold on. If I lay down while it happening I feel very lightheaded like I have been drinking but have not. When I wake it is usually gone. I forget about it then sometime during the day it may happen again. Why does the dizzieness come and go.

cardiac problems like tachycardia,SVT,VT
endocrine like insulinoma,thyroid etc
neurological like Posterior circulatory stroke
Hematological like anaemia,polycythemia

Dizziness can be due to disorders related to cerebral blood supply or diseases of inner ear.
Inner ear is responsible for maintaining body equilibrium so disorders of inner ear can cause dizziness especially on changing posture.
Reduced blood supply to brain caused by spasm of vessels, obstruction or inflammation of the blood vessels can all lead to reduced blood supply and thus spells of dizziness.
