What Causes Frequent Cold?

My daughter has been suffering from a cold on and off for the last 6 months.How do I find out if this is cause of the levels of moisture in the apartment I live currently. What is the normal level of humidity that a house needs to be so mold does not grow?

At this age the body's immune system is still immature so a baby is likely to develop symptoms such as a cough, runny nose and sometimes a temperature when they become infected with common viruses.
Eventually your daughter will develop immunity to some of these viruses and will then probably suffer from fewer coughs and colds, but it's going to take a few years before that happens. Nothing to worry....

Mold generally does not grow in cold environments. Warm, humid conditions are ideal for mold growth. Most molds need temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit (20 degrees Celsius) or more to grow.

Air conditioners to regulate the temperature of your house can help prevent mold growth.
To minimize mold spores clean and dust often. Also vacuum your home regularly, preferably with a HEPA vacuum cleaner to remove mold spores. HEPA air filters in your home also help remove mold spores from the air.
