General Surgeon 's  Response
hi.

it is best if you bring him to the ER especially if there's an active bleeding as this might lead to a significant blood loss. a follow-up consult with his surgeon for clinical evaluation is best. complete blood count must be done. a blood transfusion might be recommended if the blood loss is significant. physical examination and clinical evaluation will be done to ensure that there is no problem/bleeding in the post-operative site. diagnostics (such as imaging) and management (medical and/or surgical) will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
