What Causes Foot And Calf Muscle Pain In The Right Leg?

Had leg angiogram on Saturday..Have had 6 other angiograms but had no pain after. My right leg pains if I walk more than 3 minutes. Pain in top muscle, and calf muscle and ankle and sometimes right to bottom of foot. How long will this last? Do I need to worry about a blood clot somewhere?

Hi...Can understand your concern. As per your query about pain in leg and calf muscles while you move or walk seems to be peripheral vascular disease. There may be any obstruction in blood vessels which is causing this type of claudication pain. You need to consult a vascular surgeon for proper examination and diagnosis with treatment accordingly.I advice you to avoid smoking habits and drinking if present as it can aggravate the symptoms..If you have doubt regarding bleeding or clotting disorder a blood investigation can be done to rule out clotting disorder.I hope the information helps you.Take care.
