Hello,

First of all, do not panic. As you have undergone tubal block surgery and as it has worked and protected you from getting pregnant over the last twenty years, you can very well assume that you are not pregnant. If you have any doubt, please get morning's first of urine tested for pregnancy.

In case of any doubt, beta HCG test and ultrasound will be of help. Secondly, the flutter that you are feeling in the abdomen can be pulsations of the great blood vessel called aorta, may be due to anxiety. Or another possibility can be of some bowel movements due to intestinal gases.

Please seek support from your treating physician for getting your pulse and blood pressure check up done. Also, get an abdominal examination done to know about the cause of your fluttering sensation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purushottam Neurgaonkar
