My 6 yr. old granddaughter told her mother she had a sore spot on her forhead when she touched it. There was no sign of head trauma or bug bite. There is fluid in her forehead about 2 inches long and inch and a half deep with a hard spot in the center. Originally it also was up in the hairline but has since gone down. She went to urgent care and emergency room last night and both said it was probably some head trauma that she doesn t remember bumping her head. Kept her with me for the night checking her every 2 hours. Today it goes through periods of feeling mushy and later you can feel the skull well. Should we demand a CAT scan or just wait and see what happens? She acts just fine. She weighs 75 lbs and is about 4 feet tall.
