What Causes Fluid Filled Itchy Blisters On Arms And Legs?
My husband and I have been getting circular sores on our arms and legs. They start out as small fluid filled areas which itch, and in a day or two turn into a round sore which takes several days to heal. We ve been unable to determine what s been causing them.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of fluid filled itchy blisters on arms and legs which seems to be due to infection of hair follicles leading to folliculitis/ boil or carbuncle. It could be due to blockage of skin pores with bacteria and sebum. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to clean that area properly with antimicrobial agent. Use of corticosteroid ointment is helpful. Take antibiotics orally to prevent further infection. Use calamine lotion on that to resolve itchiness .Your symptoms will start resolving in 3-5 days. If it keeps on persisting visit dermatologist once to find out any hidden cause for your symptoms. Apply little pressure on that area with cotton dipped in warm water to ooze out the pus properly. Apply betadine over it.
Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
