hi, i have been wearing contact lenses for over 10 years now.
first i have been using hard lenses then i switched to soft lenses (acuvue) and just recently I tried biomedics 55 by coopervision.
yesterday i noticed a little redness around my inner corneal side. i just didnt paid much attention to it because i thought it was just from getting water into my eyes after washing my face.
>But today, the redness is now accompanied by pain and i noticed like a small elevated maybe fluid filled(?) area on the cornea specifically on the outer rim of the iris.
i have removed my contacts and have put a drop of gatifloxacin.
Hi It appears to be due to contact lense.Discontinue using CL till complete healing. These are corneal bleb ( corneal bullae)due to oedema in corneal layers.Do not rub them. Use lubricating drops. Gatifloxacin you have already started. Wait and watch.
