I have Porphyria. At age 67 I had a PRK procedure, one year later my vision flucuates and my eyes sunburn while wearing dark tinted sunglasses and in a car with tinted windows. The doctor was made aware of the condition. It is now my firm belief that the surgery should never have been done. YES - NO?
prk and lasik are refractive surgery. prk is possible for thinner cornea. In both surgery problems glare hallows and sunburst are common. In prk pres biopic correction is required. you have already briefed about post operative problem. You have to adjust with the problems.
