My 7 year old son has had a fever for the last three days, it fluctuates between 100 and 102.9 it has not gone below 100 even after giving him tylenol. He is complaining of a headache that is all over his head and his right eye is bloodshot and seems to be a little swollen. I have been giving him medicine about every 5 hours to keep the fever down and have made him lie on the couch in lightweight clothing with a light blanket covering him. I have made sure that he is drinking fluids, but I want to know if I should bring him to see the doctor or if this will run it s course.
