What Causes Fluctuating Blood Pressure?

HI, My cousin is 23 years old male. recently since 5-6 days he started to get high Blood pressure readings upto 190/110 mmHg. CBC is showing raised level of RBC and PCV. rest all in normal range. Serum creatinine is 1.2 ECG was normal Thyroid was normal Urine routine showed portien +30 Currently the doctor put him on BP medication and his BP has now become 140/90 mmHg. what may be the cause of his abnormal BP? apart from tension which the doctor is suggesting.

Other causes apart from tension/anxiety includes
Essential hypertension. In more than 80percent of cases its essential hypertension which means hypertension without any cause. secondary causes includes certain adrenal disorders such as conns or cushings etc. But normal creatinine rules them out. Non modifiable risk factors such as positive family history may also have an influence
