What Causes Floaters In The Filed Of Vision?

I am here as I ve just done an internet search on tiny black disappearing dot. I, just as the last questioner, have had three times in the last 2 days the same odd occurrence. I have floaters, so I know it is not that.. It s odd and eery to the point I have contemplating unknown phenomena, ghosts, time and space and such. Sounds weird I know, but it is weird enough to make me notice and attempt to understand it.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

What you are describing seems like it is happening something which is called Retinal detachment. You need to rule this out of confirm as soon as possible by doing an eye examination to a local specialist.

If the retina detachment happens you may lose partially of fully your vision in that eye. That makes it more possible if you have been using eye glasses for a long time.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
