My husband went in for second knee replacement today. Was told that his cardio was different from last year when he had his first knee surgery. They said his T s had flipped. Hasn t seen surgeon yet to ask what that could mean and we don t have a family doctor. Can you help or explain? Thanks DV

Hi Flipped t waves means that he has t wave changes, either inversions or sagging. This means that he may have got some ischaemic changes,hwhich he never had during the previous surgery. It is betterto get evaluated with the cardiologists, to rule out any ongoing or any occurred cardiac problem.
