What Causes Finger Spasms After A Surgery For Pinched Nerve?

Had pinched nerve surgery two years ago. Upper back. Has nerve reactions in two last fingers on left hand during that time. Doc said was a standard symptom. I still experience nerve/muscle spasms very occasionally (every few months) in last two fingers on left hand.Straightens my fingers and hard for me to curl them. Subsides after 3-4 minutes each time. That happened again 2-3 hours ago today. Now sitting down, I just had similar reactions in third/fourth toe on left foot, than a few seconds later on right foot. That never happened before. Pain is not debilitating. Subsided when I got up and walked around. Comfortable and no pain or spasms now, 10 minutes later. Is there anything about having those symptoms in three extremities in a short time that I should be concerned about? Thank you.
