What Causes Fever,runny Nose And Throat Pain?
Hi,
4 weeks ago I got a severe bacterial tonsil infection and was prescribed with antibiotics for a week. The day I took my last antibiotic pill I got an allergic reaction and my cheeks, lips and throat started swelling up. After going to the hospital I was given an allergy shot and courtizone shot and 5 day allergy pill. A week and a half later I got another allergic reaction with the same swelling as last time from something I ate but I am not sure what it was exactly. I was given the same shots at the hospital 5 days after I woke up with slight fever severe throat pain runny nose and weak and aching body. I am worried because my throat is very sensitive and is vulnerable to almost anything. Should I be worried? Are the above symptoms normal? What is the best thing to do?

Late sensitivity reaction is very likely and this some time respond little late, some time this could be manifest on and often even after not on causative factor like antibiotic in your case, but later or sooner this comes around with steroid and antihistamine, hope this information helps. (Comment:- Hypersensitivity reaction can easily aggregate with emotional stress)
