Hello,
Thank you for using HCM.
Typhoid is and infectious disease that amongst other symptoms might cause fever and fatigue. It is good fever is going down and this means antibiotics are helping, fatigue might take a little longer to improve. This might also effect your ability to be involved in activities that demand energy like exercising and even the sexual activity.
Something to keep in mind is that Typhoid has a high risk of recurrence and you need to take the antibiotics as the doctor has recommended, make sure you drink plenty and have frequent small amount of food especially if appetite is not all that good and try to rest as much as you can to give your body a chance to heal quick and regain energy. You need to have good hygiene to prevent the spread of infection so wash hands with warm water and soap every time you use the toilet and before meals and avoid touching the food of others.
You will need to have further follow up tests to insure that infection is gone and also to see if you are a carrier (the bacteria stays in your body and you spread it but you have no symptoms) of the infection.
Hope this is helpful and answers to your question
