What causes fever?

My daughter has had fever all day of average 102.5 and she's complaining of her eyes burning and they seem to be watering. Is this a cold or could more serious? She started yesterday with fever and sore throat but today was all about her eyes, cough and pressure in the middle of forehead.

Hallo . Thank you for asking this question . She is having upper respiratory tract infection . Give her paracetamol for fever , decongestive medicine to reduce congestion . Let her rest and give plenty of liquid and light diet . As congestion decreases burning eyes , headache , coughing will reduce . Hope I have answered your query .For further questions please contact .
