What Causes Fever, Lymph Node Swelling Near Neck, Painful Gut And Fingers?

My 27 year old daughter had had a 2 day fever (which seems to have broken now), her lymph nodes around her neck are very swollen, it hurts for her to swallow. She had a very painful gut and her fingers are numb (which is a bit scary for her). So far I have given her ibuprofen (2x p/4hours). Would antibiotics help? She only wants to go to the Dr if she must as it is hard to get to one were we live in NZ.. Would Vitamin C ad B12 help? Any advice would be appreciated.

Fever and large lymph nodes....,lymph nodes can be enlarged due to many reasons ranging from infections to malignancies.
theses swollen nodes are putting pressure on your nerves that supplies your arm so you feel numbness .
These lymph nodes could be due to infections like tuberculosis, tonsillitis, peritonsilitis and may due to leukemias (blood cancers) or sebaceous cysts lipomas etc.
You better consult a General Physician so that he could examine toy and take biopsy from the swellings.
