What Causes Fever, Headache And Vomiting After Taking Clindamycin?

My 6 year old son went to the dentist yesterday and they said he has an abscess tooth and gave him clindamycin hcl...he started it last night. Has had 3 pills. He has a slight fever, headache and vomited this evening. Is there a correlation or could this be something else?
