What Causes Fever, Headache And Neck Pain In The Evening?

52 yo nurse anesthetist. Evening fevers accompanied by headache & neck pain only on left side of neck going up behind left ear. No other symptoms. Feel fine with no fever etc all day until late afternoon/evening have been doing this for 6 days. Fever ranges from 99-103. Had CBC at work. WBC 2.8. One month ago at dr appt. WBC 7.5. All other lab normal. Live in Alabama.

I have gone through the history and blood reports you have mentioned.
Your WBC count has been reduced drastically in one month.
And this is the reason for for your symptoms.
Possibility of infection is more likely.
So better to consult infection specialist and get done blood culture, MRI brain and ultrasound of neck to identify type of infection.
