What Causes Fever And Strep Throat After Foreplay?

Hello, my name is Jeff, about 2 weeks ago I received oral from an old friend and did a little rimming, not a lot. This week I have strep throat and have had fever for about 4 days I started taking antibiotics and the fever has gone away but at night I get chills like the fever wants to come back, should I be worried and did I do anything to put myself at risk for hiv? I'm really scared now. Thank you.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that the fever and throat pain is due to infection that can be due to bacteria or virus..
As it is just 4 days you need not to worry as the symptoms can resolve in a week,..
You can take acetaminophen for another three days and if there is throat pain you can do warm saline gargles, steam inhalations and use a humidifier in your room..
Chew Vitamin C pellet..
These symptoms are however indicative towards HIV and are common infections..
In case if the symptoms does not resolve consult a General Physician and get evaluated and a blood test and throat swab culture can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
