What Causes Fever And Red Rash On The Body Of An Infant?
We went to the doctor for my 22 month old earlier today, and all they could come up with was a viral infection. I just wanted a second opinion- she has a mild fever (highest it has been is 101.3) and is red on most of her body with a rash. The rash is warm to the touch, but the parts of her body that aren t covered are cool to the touch. Our doctor said her tonsils were swollen but didn t appear to be strep.

it could be viral exanthematous , it will subside but before that baby should be investigated blood test like complete blood picture ,esr ,and crp ,and should rule out that baby not in sepsis ,
