What Causes Fever And Breathlessness While On Medication For Spot In Lung?
Doctors found a spot on my left lung in an exray and put me on antibiotics for a month in case it in just infection. I have been taking them for a over a week and the last few days I have run a fever and having a hard time breathing. Is this normal? I am 44 yrs. old. Tired of feeling dizzy and short of breathe.

the most common reason for a lesion on x ray of chest is the infection and among infections the bacterial lower respiratory tract infections such as pneumonia are common, that is the reason you have been given antibiotic empirically. if these lesions do not improve after few days of antibiotics, mandate further work up for finding the exact cause and then a battery of tests may be required.
