What Causes Fever Along With Profuse Sweating And Chest Congestion?

Hi, Here are my symptoms: Started out 6 days ago with what seemed like a cold. Chest congestion, and cough. Then fever, profuse sweeting, and very rapid Heart Rate for hours. Followed by Nausea, and then Diarrhea a couple of days later. Today I have a rash on my abdomen on both sides of my hips and under my chest... Any clue what I may be dealing with, or what tests you recommend I get done? Thank you.

Welcome to HCM,

understanding your concern .As per your query you have fever along with profuse sweating and chest congestion . Well there can be many reasons for symptome you mention in query like diabetic hypoglycemia , endocarditis , generalized anxiety disorder , heart attack , hyperthyroidism , medication side effects, such as blockers and antidepressants and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma . It seems to me that in your case the symptoms are due to viral infection or cardiac problem . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist for proper examination without any delay . Doctor may order complete blood profile , ECG , TMT , angiography and check vitals . Doctor may prescribe betablockers , aspirin , diurectics like frusamide and sedatives . Doctor may also refer you to endicrinologist if he/she find problem to be related with thyroid or general practitioner ,who may prescribe anti viral .
