What Causes Fever Along With Pain In The Neck And Upper Back?
Hello. On Sunday, I came down with a 102 fever. For a while now, I ve had neck and upper back pain along with headaches + cold hands and feet, which are symptoms linked to meningitis. I tend to be a hypochondriac which scares me. Tonight I heard a news story about a baby dying from this disease. I asked a friend what to do and she says I don t have it

the only way to diagnose meningitis for sure is to do a lumber puncture.However clinical symptoms of a headache with neck pain/stiffness with a fever are worrisome. My suggestion is visit a local clini they can do a blood panel see if there is a active infection then proceed to lumbar puncture if indicated
