What Causes Fever Along With Headache While Suffering From Fibromyalgia ?

I have been experiencing some real unusual feelings of having a fever, my body stays hot all of the time, bad headache, aches and pains, and yes I already have fibromylgia, this is not a fibro attack, very tired all of the time, swelling in the legs, especially right, I have already had a double femoral bypass, went to the ER and they were so busy, they put me in the hallway for eight hours and did nothing, but draw blood, right now my face looks like I hav a sunburn, so tired, no appetite, I do not know whether to go back to the ER or not, my vascular surgeon was at that hospital is the only reason why I went to that particular hospital, but he had so many emergency operations that night OK THIS IS REALLY BULL SHIT, I HAVE TO PAY YOU TO TELL YOU TO TELL ME TO GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM, GOOD LAWD, COME ON THIS IS AMERICA

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

A headache, migraines, neck stiffness associated with discomfort and pain are symptoms of fibromyalgia. But fever that you are getting can be due to some developing complication after your double femoral bypass, you are already complaining of swelling in the legs. Though some swelling is natural after surgery. Fever is usually indicative of some developing infection.

Ideally, you should complain to your health care provider if you are getting fever and chills, increased pain, redness or swelling in your leg or if you are experiencing coolness, numbness or tingling in your affected leg. Hope you are taking all the medications as prescribed. Avoid strenuous activities. You should be able to fully recover in 6-8 weeks.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K,
