What Causes Fever Along With Chills And Burning Sensation In The Eyes?

Hello, I am experiencing strange symptoms, that coincidentally I experienced exactly 1 year ago. Last fall, for about 3 months, I broke out with a low grade fever every evening. It was always about 99 or 100, made me eyes burn and I got chills. I also experienced a slight headache each day. When I woke up in the morning, I was always gunky like I was coming down with a cold, but never broke out with one until Christmas Day. Both my husband and I broke out with a major cold and cough that same day. Our colds hung around for 3 months, and my cough hung on until June. My husband still has his cough. Now about 3 weeks ago, I began breaking out in the low grade fevers every single night again...around 7 or 8:00pm. I usually break the fever in the middle of the night and feel much better. But then when I wake up, I m gunky like I m going to break out with a cold any day. I ve never experienced anything like this prior to last year. I got my 1 and only flu shot about 4 years ago, and swore I would never get one again. So I know what I m experiencing now is not the result of having gotten a flu shot. Any suggestions as to what I m experiencing? I think I forgot to mention that on top of the fevers this fall, I m again experiencing a low grade headache. It covers both lobes of my brain, and is in the middle of my head....basically stretches from ear to ear. Most of the time it s not bad enough to really need any medicine. But I ve been getting these every day as well (any time of the day). Fever always comes in the evenings. Please help with possible diagnosis! Thank you!!!

cough and evening rise of temperature along suggest TB,if its associated with weight loss....if night sweats do exist,
may also be acute sinusitis, pneumonia, bronchitis.
