What Causes Fever Along With Body Ache And Chills?
I had a blood clot in the superior messentric vein in February. I was on blood thinner eloquis for 3 months a cat scan was redone and the blood clot was gone. so I was taken off eloquis. For the past 3 days I have run a 100 to 101 fever with aches and chills and slight stomach discomfort. Nothing like when I had the blood clot, I am fearful though but don t want to be running to the dr. every time I have an ache or pain.

It may not be related to stopping Apixaban, but it may be due to viral or bacterial infection.
Also, possible of malaria or pneumonia or UTI. Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is.
You have to continue Apixaban.
Use tablet Paracetamol. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
