My throat feels like I have swallows a small ball - it has been like this for now a week - Wednesday I woke up and my ears are feeling weird - today I now have such a bad cough I have to run to the loo as my stomach is squeezed so much I need to tiddle

I have gone through your query regarding weiredfeeling in ears and throat as some thing is struck in throat.

Your symptoms are in favour of sore throat with GERD (gastro esophageal reflex disease). This is very common throat disease and is caused by throat infection (viral or bacterial) and acidity. To get relief you may take-

1- Warm saline gargling.

2- Anti histaminic.

3- Adequate fluid orally.

4- Antacid with PPI.

I hope above will give you much relief otherwise consultation with ENT specialist will become necessary for thorough examination and treatment.
