What Causes Fatigue, Oily Film Urine And Diarrhea Long After Kidney Transplantion?

Hi, I am a kidney transplant patient a year and a half out from transplant. Lately, I have been feeling fatigued, have an oily film in my urine, and have been having lots of diarrhea, heart arrithmias, and shortness of breath. Should I be checked at the hospital?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.

It sounds like you have transplant rejection or a reaction from the steroids or medications you are using. The symptoms like diarrhea, arrhythmia and shortness of breath is a non specific symptom and can be seen with many causes.

Getitng a general check up and getting the following tests done would help -
Kidney function test
Liver function test
Complete blood picture
Blood glucose levels

Any deviation from these levels will help us understand the cause better.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Vignan Rachabattuni
