What Causes Fatigue, Lower Back Pain And Frequent Urination?
My sister is experiencing fatigue, lower back pain and frequent urination (to the point that she can no longer hold it). She wen t to an OB and they performed ultrasound but instead of providing the diagnosis, she referred her to another OB. The new OB said she will have to wait for the test result to provide the diagnosis. My sister said she spotted some black spots when they are performing the ultrasound. She s very anxious at the moment but could not do anything other than wait for the result to come out. With these details, what would be the possible diagnosis?

These symptoms are suggestive of uroinfection and this is common in your age and usually is manifested with pain during urination, fever and changes in urination frequency. Also, blood traces may be present in urine which can have odour or colour change. Other common cause are urinary stones. Diagnosis is established by doing urine analysis and urinoculture and after this antibiotic treatment may be started if necessary. If there is negative urine analysis then you should do ultrasound of kidneys to check for stones.
