What Causes Fatigue, Body Aches, Excessive Thirst, Chesty Cough And Sore Throat?

I can be really well but then suddenly have fatigue, body/bone aches and pains., thirst, a chesty cough of a night with pain/sore throat/neck on the left side. Sometimes it is with a headache. My hearing, sight (sore eyes) seem worse at these times and also my alertness. Mornings are particularly hard. I also notice at these times that my gums bleed when I clean my teeth and my hair falls out more than normal. I look ill - either very white or jaundice. My blood pressure is erratic as well. My stomach also can be bloated. I have had tests but nothing shows. I get over it after 3 to 10 days and feel really well once again.

Hello,

Fatigue, pain in the body, joints, sore throat, cough or symptoms of infection. infections can cause increased metabolism in the body leading to changes in blood pressure. As for your problem is concerned the root cause is infection to throat, which has spread to other parts leading to a variety of symptoms around heart, joints, neck and gum bleeding. In sore throat, though rare, but inflammation of the gums can occur called streptococcal gingivitis and hence you bleed on mild touch or brushing.

The changes in BP, pain in joints and variety of other symptoms you present takes it to Rheumatic fever probably which may be caused due to infection in throat. Though you are quite normal now but i suggest you get checked by a physician to check the status of your important body organs like heart.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
