I have nodules on my thyroid and have taken radio-active iodine treatments about 5 years ago and have my thyroid checked by sonogram yearly by an endochronologist.. My T3 and T4 and my TSH levels have been normal for several years but I am tired in the afternoons and have been going to water aerobics 4-5 days a week for an hour a day eating a healthy diet and tracking intake of food and still have not lost one pound. It is totally frustrating. I am 77 years old and feel I need to lose the weight around my middle as it is unhealthy and contributes to my being tired and lack of energy. Is there another test that should be done that could more accurately pinpoint the problem with my thyroid as I believe I am now hypothyroid.
