What Causes Fatigue And Weakness With Light Headedness?

I. I have little energy. I am an avid walker& that is even a chore. I feel weak and at times a little lightheaded. I feel a little better when I'm laying down, but that even gets old. It's been quite hot, so I try not to go out in the heat that often. I am 58 years old, 5' 10" & 180lbs. I have been treated for hypertension in the past, but I am on no medicine.

Hello
This could be a sign of anemia or low thyroid, but it also could be a sign of a heart condition like congestive heart failure.

You need to see a doctor about this, and I would get a complete blood count, a metabolic panel, thyroid function studies, an EKG and an echocardiogram and stress test to cover all the possible bases here
