What Causes Fatigue And Pain In The Neck?
my husband has symptoms that concern me. He is drained of energy, the back of his neck aches and he has a headache. no other flu symptoms like sore throat, congestion. he is presently in bed - not usual for him! he is 85, on no medications other than for his sight.

Dear viral Fever may present like fatigue and neck pain.
urinary tract infection, respiratory tract infection, malaria, meningitis may present with weakness and fatigue with head ache.
His age is 85 so possibility decreased immunity and prone for infections.please take simple pain killers like Tramadol with paracetamol twice a day. feed with more liquid s with rest.if symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat him accordingly.
